How to hit.

Accuracy is the trademark of the "master caner". The design you draw on your bottom’s backend will stop all nonsense. Also, a misdirected hit could hurt your partner. So, practice, practice, practice.

 

First, be sure to hit inside the safe area. The safer area for hitting is from a little lower of the top of the cleft of the buttocks until the upper part of the thighs. 

 

 

Hit higher, and you risk hitting at the end of the spine (follow it with the finger and you will note how low it goes). Hit lower, and you can damage the nerves or muscles of the leg. The lower you go, the less cushioning you’ll find.

 

You don’t need strength to use the cane more than you need it to use a baseball bat, a golf club or an axe. The trick is in the swing, and in the wrist. That is why the cane is good for being used by women.

 

Do not use your full arm, is bad for accuracy. It is enough to hit with the forearm, with your elbow tucked to the body as if holding under the arm a heavy book.

 

Tap the selected impact point with the point of the cane. Retrieve it, first with the wrist, then with the elbow.

 

The movement should be horizontal, parallel to the floor. Then, without taking your eyes from the target, bring your forearm forward. The arm should lead the cane until the very last moment, when a flick of the wrist brings the point forward, aligning it to the arm, and getting that swishhh! that makes your heart (and your bottom’s buttocks) glow. You could add a little weight to the cut by twisting also your upper body. 

 

You will read of people going a couple of steps back and taking a run before hitting, but even if it is great as a show, it accomplish nothing but ruining your aim.

 

When you hit, there are two possibilities. Let the cane bounce, loosing a little effect, or follow the movement, maintaining the point of the cane sinking a moment on the flesh. This second option is more severe, and supposedly separates a little more the two stages of pain.

 

As for the exact pattern for hitting “six of the best” the traditional is with the six lines evenly spaced, covering all the surface of the buttocks

 

 

They should be delivered from top to bottom, with the last hitting on the crease that divides the buttocks from the thighs.

 

Another possibility is grouping the six lashes as near one to the other as possible without overlapping (overlapping, hitting over the ridges of another lash, is a sure way to cut the skin at the cross point). The usual technique is “marking” the area delivering the higher first, then the lower and then filling in the gap with the rest.

 

 

 

The effect of this technique is leaving a throbbing band of pure pain across the bottom.

 

Another of the favorites is the “barred gate”. Five parallel ridges with the last cut delivered diagonally, overlapping the other five.

 

 

The pain is exquisite, but there is a risk of breaking the skin on the points of overlap.


A possibility favored by some teachers, is giving the last to the thighs. It hurts terribly, and it leaves a mark that will show on swimming suit or under the short skirts of physical education uniforms.

 

 

Finally, the harder one, for ensuring the subject will not be able to sit in a couple of days, hitting low, on the most sensible part of the buttocks, on and around the crease dividing the thighs and the buttocks

 

 

Don't go too low in the thighs, you could hurt your sub.

 

Showing the marks of a cane could be good for the humiliation of a schoolgirl, but be sure you want that for your bottom, especially in summer.

 

If what you actually get is marks scattered all over the place, (shame on you!), you should better use a paddle. If you cannot control the cane, sooner or later you will hurt your bottom.
