Garrotillo (Spanish) (Panamá) Intrument for flogging horses and ocassionally kids or other persons, consisiting in a hard wood cilindrical handle with an eye for passing a rawhide or leather strap. Tajona, Mulero.

Goasl (German)(Hianzn dialect) Whip used in Bavaria for cracking. Groups of bachelors meet for whipcracking, swinging the whip over the head with both hands (Aperschnalzen). It is made from tarred cord. The handle is 2 1/2 feet long.
