Cimbado (Spanish) (Bolivia) Braided whip
Cincho (Spanish)(esp. in Central America and Perú) Belt
Cinghia (Italian)Strap
Cinta (Portuguese)Long strap of fabric or leather used for tying. Belt
Cinto (Spanish)Belt. A strip of flexible material worn around the waist. The leather belt is the most widely used instrument for domestic punishment. It was (or still is) used doubled over in two, or taken by the buckle and wrapped around the hand leaving a manageable tail loose. It's the father's favorite implement. The mothers used the slipper, the hairbrush or kitchen accessories.

Cipó (Portuguese)Generic name for several climbing plants. By extension, rod, whip.
Cipó-de-boi (Portuguese)Whip made with a bull's penis (pizzle). Thin rawhide whip.
Cnute (Portuguese)(from Russian Knout). Whip, made with several leather straps, with wire at the ends.
Cola de lagartija (Spanish)(Corrientes, Argentina) (literally, "lizard's tail"). A thin whip made, of course, of a lizards tail. 
Cola de tatú (Spanish)(Argentina) Whip or rebenque with its handle made of spiral plaited leather, with a round plaited leather thong and a rawhide fall of about 7 inches. Even when the Spanish name means "armadillo's tail", it was never made of this material (but it somehow looks like an enlarged version of it.)
Coathanger (English)Another home implement used for punishment. The ones made of wire, straightened and twisted can be made a makeshift rod, severe and capable of cutting the skin.
