| "Hands on ankles" is the traditional school position for spanking with a belt, a cane, or long paddles. The punished bends over, resting the hands on the ankles, offering the buttocks to the lash. The legs should be straight, because with bent knees, especially in a man, the genitals are exposed to a blow. They should be separated and with the feet pointing inwards, for precluding the subject to clench the buttocks. The buttocks are in tension, adding to the pain. The bottom must be flexible enough for taking this position. Most adults will not be able to do it. It is also used with the fingers of the bottom under his/her toes. |

This, with the hands on the knees is more realistic for normal people. The spankee should be instructed to raise the head, looking to a point up the wall, for making him/her arch the back and offer the buttocks in a better position (this is not possible in the former position). This position requires concentration for the spankee not falling to the front under the blows.

| This is based our variation of the murgha punishment, adapted for less flexible subs.
Make her bend over and hold each elbow with the opposite's side hand on the back or her knees.
Or, easier, just with the hands on the back of the knees.
If she is flexible enough, make her hold her ears from between her legs, in the actual murgha position. |

| This is yet another possibility, for a bottom that cannot bend him/herself enough or with enough stability. It tenses the buttocks as bending over. Use a low bench, a low table or a box (strong, if it collapses the party is over).
