A teacher’s favorite. As you probably know (and maybe you had to do), it consist in writing by hand a number of times (traditionally 50, 100, 200, or 300 times ) a sentence related to the fault, for instance “I will show respect to my teachers.”, “I will do my homework on time.”, “I will obey all of my parents orders.” or “I will not talk back to my mother.”
The lines must be numbered.
They should be well written, with no errors, no missing letters and good handwriting from the beginning to the end (it tends to deteriorate as the work advances). No correction by rewriting over is allowed. Errors should be left uncorrected. (Check punctuation marks, undotted "i"s, incorrectly
crossed "t"s).
Any violations of these rules should be punished, by writing them again or by a spanking.
Try this: for every error, re-writing the line three times. For 3 wrong lines in a page, re-writing the full page. (Thanks, "jimmy")
Another fitting punishment could be some slaps on the hands with a strap or a ruler, (see article) and then make her write the additional lines. Holding the pencil with her burning hands will be extra punishment
Other possibilities:
- Set a time limit. (I can write 25 lines of the straight kind, not the fancy ones, in 9 minutes. A hundred should take about 40 to 50 minutes, but it gets slower at the end, when your hand begins to hurt). A single dot missing when the time is over means that the task is not completed. She will have to choose between writing fast, risking a sloppy writing or making errors, or writing slow and carefully, and not completing the task on time. She can have a clock on sight, which will add pressure and could force an error is she knows she will not complete the assignment on time, or not, for forcing her to make her best effort to the end. (The anguish
of knowing, or the anguish of not knowing)
- Do not accept errors. If she makes one, she must rip the sheet herself and redo it. (This is especially cruel if working against time). And if she misses the error, she will have to redo the whole page at the end, after additional punishment.
- Use blank sheets, and make her draw the upper and left margins in red when beginning each page (and check that the written lines are straight and parallel).
- Make the culprit underline some words “I will obey all of my parent’s orders.” Of course, the underlining should be done with a ruler, and word by word (writing one full line, or worse, several lines, and underlining them afterwards is cheating, and cheating is punished by, well… a good spanking).
- Make her write some words on a different color, for instance: “I will obey all of my parent’s orders.” (or even “I will obey all of my parent’s orders.”). Or make her write the numbering in a different color than the lines. Again, it is cheating writing in one color first and filling the blanks with the other(s) afterwards. She must change pencils for each color change.
- Make her write her lines while kneeling on the floor, using a bench or a low table as a desk. (And I mean kneeling, not sitting on her heels).
- Writing the lines while sitting still (but for the hands, of course).
- Don't give her a time limit, but spank her at regular intervals (every ten, fifteen minutes or half and hour) , as an incentive for writing fast. The longer she takes, the worse for her bottom. Writing sitting on a hard bench or a mat on a continuously spanked bottom will sure teach her a lesson (thanks, Dan).

Make her write by hand (no PC allowed) an essay (say, two pages long) about:
- the fault
- the rules concerning it
- the reasons behind the rules
- her plans to improve her behavior in the future
- an apology at the end
She could have to write a draft (and show it for approval), and then copy the final version, that should be articulate, well written and neat. Check spelling and grammar. I would make her write it all in one session, but you can give her more time.
